This class is designed to help people release physical and mental tension. Stress triggers the release of “fight or flight” hormones, which can accumulate in the body and have long-term negative consequences. This class helps develop physical, mental and emotional mindfulness to help you manage stress, promote a calm state of mind and maintain overall health and well being. Breathing exercises are used to help you relax and muscles that hold tension are consciously stretched and relaxed. You will also exercise joints, such as the wrists, fingers and shoulders, which are often over-worked from office/ computer work. This class will leave you feeling calm and rejuvenated throughout the rest of your day.
