Robin arrived at Nava Yoga, and in Sackville, in the fall of 2017, and is excited to be joining both communities.
Her first yoga class was in 2003 during a summer at the Banff Center, and since then she has practiced Ashtanga, Hatha, and Vinyasa Flow styles in and out of studios in Vancouver, North Carolina, Manitoba, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and now New Brunswick.
In 2010 she completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training through Open Door Yoga in Vancouver, BC. She has taken additional workshops on Vinyasa, trauma-sensitive, and alignment-based practices.
Robin taught Hatha, Prenatal, and Power yoga classes in Vancouver, as well as classes for women recovering from trauma, and English-Spanish bilingual classes. After a four-year hiatus, she is happy to be back in the studio sharing the gift of yoga with students from all backgrounds and abilities, helping students find their personal connections to their own body, mind, and spirit via the practice of yoga.
When she’s not teaching yoga, Robin is a visiting assistant professor of music theory at Mount Allison University, a wife to artist Nico, mother to Josué and Eleni, a dabbling singer-songwriter, and a dedicated lover of tea and a good book.
