Julie went to her first yoga class during the winter of 2003, which happened to be an ashtanga class taught by a friend. It was an intense experience and she was instantly hooked.
After many years of personal practice, and with a desire to share the benefits of yoga with others, she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga at Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto in 2011.
She then completed a 25 hour Teacher Training in Ashtanga Yoga with Manju Jois in March 2014.
With an evolving personal practice and a continuing desire to experience more of yoga’s benefits for the entire being, she completed a 50 hour Teacher Training in Restorative Yoga with Stephanie Calhoun in Fredericton in January 2016. This training was a life changing experience as she was able to witness personally the change that can happen when we can experience deep relaxation. She then continued her studies with Stephanie Calhoun by completing a 100 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in March 2016 .
She feels deeply inspired by what she has learned from her teachers and grateful for the opportunity to share the joy and benefits that can come from Yoga.
She has an honest approach and wants to work with students in a safe manner .
